Keiki Steps

One thing that happened in May was the end of Keiki Steps for the summer. On the last day they had a little graduation ceremony.

They started out with a circle time. Here is Anna and her friend Andi singing their good morning song.

Then they had a little certificate and goodie bag for each keiki. Some of the kids also had leis for everyone.

Anna with her three friends, Kenken is the boy on top and Boston is the boy on the bottom. It was not easy getting them together for a picture, as you can see. These four had turned into a bit of a clique. At snack time, they only wanted to sit with each other and would have to be told to settle down.

Then there was a potluck and a bounce house water slide.

It was so much fun. Anna did manage to go down the slide a few times but didn't like it after she got water in her eyes. The funny thing was, after that she would still climb up the stairs but then she wouldn't go down the slide. Of course she wouldn't go back down the stairs either so I would have to go in and get her down. It was a fun day and we are sad Keiki Steps is over. They do have it on Oahu but the locations are not near where we are going to live so we will have to find something else.
