This past week for Family Home Evening, we decided to ice sugar cookies.
Although Anna was really only there to eat the cookies. We weren't brave enough to let her try it on her own (can you imagine what that would look like?).
First she licks off the frosting.
And gets yellow on her face (including up her nose)
After Daddy so kindly puts more icing on, she gets pink on her face.
And finishes the evening off with blue (she did actually eat some cookie, it was getting smaller with each color added).
Our finished cookies. I seemed to put a little bit more food coloring in than I was expecting. Oh well, pastel is overrated anyways.

i made sugar cookies yesterday too! b/c, you know, we don't have enough sugar in this house. i was surprised to see i didn't have any easter-shape cookie cutters, and the stores were sold out. so i had to go with plain circles, but with pastel icing, they looked totally eastery. did anna get a basket this year?
