Musical Apartments

We've had a few changes in the living arrangements of late. Last Sunday Fran came to stay in our third bedroom. She is from the Pittsburg office and is here for about ten days. She's really nice but not here very much. Between work and having her meals upstairs, she wouldn't see Anna for days at a time.

Then, in the middle of last week, Grace told us that another girl was going to come so she wanted to move Fran upstairs and move John down into our third bedroom and have the new girl be upstairs with Fran. Then when Fran leaves, we were going to have the new girl and John switch back. So on Thursday I think it was, Grace and Kiran (the houseboy who comes and picks up lunch everyday and returns the bowls at night) came to move Fran's things upstairs. But then John never came down. It turns out that they decided to have him stay where he was and just share an apartment with Fran for a few days and have the new girl come straight here.

So yesterday morning, Varnell came to stay with us. She is younger and from the DC office but is origionally from Trinidad. She pretty much hung out at home yesterday. It was a lot of fun having her here, I'm kind of bummed she will have to go to work. She's never been to India before but has signed on for a year. She seems cool and wants to do lots of things, particularly sports. Yesterday at lunch she, along with John's help, was explaining cricket to us. It's starting to make sense.
